En más de una ocasión me han dicho que tiendo a humanizar a los animales cuando los pinto. Nunca lo había pensado, porque no es algo que haga de manera intencionada. Lo que sí sé con certeza es que el mundo animal me resulta fascinante: me transmite calma, me hace sentir en casa, y al mismo tiempo los seres salvajes despiertan en mí una profunda admiración y una curiosidad inagotable.
Todas las obras de esta colección han sido realizadas en óleo sobre lienzo.

More than once, I've been told that I tend to humanise animals when I paint them. I'd never really thought about it, as it's not something I do deliberately. What I do know for certain is that the animal world fascinates me: it brings me a sense of calm, makes me feel at home, and at the same time, wild creatures awaken in me a deep admiration and an endless curiosity.
